NDIS Management Arrangements
How NDIS payments are made depends on who is managing the NDIS client’s funds:
- National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) managed clients: The NDIS schedule fee for psychology is paid on invoice by the NDIA.
- Plan-Managed clients have a management provider who manages NDIS payments and pays St Paul’s Counselling Centre based on invoices.
- Self-Managed clients are expected to pay St Paul’s Counselling Centre at the time of consultation.
The fee for Self-Managed and Plan-Managed clients is the clinical psychology price.
All NDIS clients will be asked to sign for each session attended.
What do I need to bring in the first session?
You will need to bring your NDIS Approved Plan Summary to the first session which states the summary of areas approved and budget allocated for each intervention area.
Please note the following:
Clients Managed by NDIA only
St Paul’s Counselling Centre requires:
- A copy of the NDIS Summary Plan at the first session.
- Preparation of a NDIS Service Agreement with the psychologist during the first session.
This will determine how many sessions to log onto the NDIS portal system.
For clients who do not attend the appointment or change it with less than 24 hours notice , the session will be charged through the NDIS portal
Assessments
Assessment costs will vary depending on what assessments are administered and how many hours/units in total. This can be discussed with the psychologist.
